Where to buy original paintings in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area (GTHA) in 2024

A crowd of people at a gallery opening in Hamilton Ontario.

Whether you’re new to buying art or are looking to explore more contemporary artists, these events offer great exposure to various local artists. Best of all, artwork is reviewed by committees or juries so you can expect quality.

For those intimidated by the gallery setting, art sales and auctions that draw in a large audience can provide the perfect feeling of camouflage. You can view the work in a crowd, and potentially even bid on some in the privacy of your home!

Here’s a look at 5 art sales and auctions coming up in 2024 in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area.
