Welcome! I’m Heather Bridge, an oil painter based in Hamilton, Ontario. My passion lies in creating Hamilton original art that celebrates the beauty of our city and surrounding landscapes. Through vibrant colours and bold brushstrokes, I record the essence of light and shadow, infusing my work with a sense of optimism and energy.

My primary focus is on Hamilton oil paintings, capturing the essence of our local natural wonders. Whether it’s Bayfront Park, The Dundas Valley Conservation Trail or the escarpment lookout, I strive to translate these places into unique works of art.
Impressionistic inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the Impressionist movement, I use loose brushwork and contrasting values to evoke a sense of atmosphere and emotion. Each piece is a personal interpretation, inviting viewers to connect with the landscapes in their own way.
Education and background
My artistic journey began at the University of Guelph, where I honed my skills in studio art. After graduating in 2010, I further developed my creative vision by pursuing a diploma in Graphic Design from Mohawk College in 2014.
